The Simcoe County OGS Chapter is home to a particularly valuable resource is the Settlers database. You can search on a variety of criteria – including surname, given names, spouse, birth , death. location and source. Your output will bring up a variety of information from a source group that includes them1861 & 1891 censuses, pedigree books, settlers forms, family group sheets and cemetery transcriptions listing.
Here is where this gets really handy. The output provides you with details such as the page numbers and locations – along with detail of spouses on record. Want even more detail try taking the source of your output and run it though the advance search.
